Spencer Klotzman was born and raised in Victoria, Texas and is the third generation of his family involved in the local oil and gas industry.
He graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee with Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Economics before attending South Texas College of Law.
While in law school, Spencer interned with the 13th Court of Appeals in Corpus Christi and the Railroad Commission of Texas in Austin. He was licensed to practice law November 4, 2007 and worked as an attorney for Anderson, Smith, Null & Stofer, LLP in Victoria before forming Klotzman Law Firm, PLLC with his wife, Rachel, in July 2008.
Having grown up in the industry, Spencer enrolled in law school for the purpose of practicing oil and gas law and has been doing so ever since. Spencer has served on the boards of Habitat for Humanity and Trinity Episcopal School and currently serves as the Treasurer of Trinity Episcopal Church, Victoria.
Outside of the office, he spends his time in Port O’Connor, Texas and carrying on his family’s cattle ranching tradition in DeWitt and Gonzales Counties. Spencer is Board Certified in Oil, Gas and Mineral Law.
